A well-equipped and cosy lakeside cottage for 4-6 people, perfect for a peaceful family holiday amongst the forests of eastern Finland. Overlooking the beautiful Ilmajärvi lake, this is an ideal setting for a relaxing getaway, with amenities for guests of all ages. Downstairs has a well equipped kitchen, cosy dining area and a comfortable living room with a lovely stone fireplace. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, WC, shower cubicle and a sauna with a handy electric stove. Upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds, which open up to provide a further two beds if required. Air conditioning system that keeps the air in the cottage clean and fresh. Baby bed and high chair.
The large terrace is an excellent spot on a sunny day to view a beautiful sunset over the lake. On the cottage grounds you will find a barbecue hut for memorable evenings of outdoor cooking with your group. The cottage also comes with a pier, rowing boat and car shelter. Children can enjoy the seesaw, swings, sandpit, basketball, darts and the large trampoline. During summertime, guests can go fishing and swimming in the lake, picking mushrooms and berries in the surrounding woods, and walking the woodland trails.

Avara piha-alue, ötököistä ei ollut vaivaa ja ikkunoissakin oli kunnolliset hyttysverkot. Hyvät sisätilat, siistiä. Loistavat ulkoilumaastot, hyvät kanttarelli-apajat ja puolukoitakin oli tulossa lupaavasti syksyn matkaajille. Suppailun kautta tutustuttiin lähijärveen perusteellisesti.

A fantastic location – Ilmajärvi Forest Dream is a very nicely furnished house right on the lake with carport for the car and barbecue houses, two paddle boats. The landlord even brought a new paddle extra after one had broken. Very well equipped kitchen – comfortable beds – nice big sofa for 4 people. Sauna was fantastic, from there right into the lake 10 meters away. Very good arrival description. It was a bit further for shopping, but we knew that and planned it. A LIDL which is very reasonably priced was about 35 minutes away. Ideal to go on trips to Savonlinna or Lappeenranta from there – both within about 60-70 minutes. The surrounding area is inviting for berries and mushrooms.

Excellent location, relatively close to the nearest store 10-20 kilometers away. Ilmajärvi Forest Dream is small but overall it has everything you need. There is a playground and a trampoline, ideal for groups with children. The house is right on the shore of the lake, there is a pier, a fire pit right on the shore with benches, you can sit nicely in the evening.
