A newly constructed two-bedroom villa on the shore of Puruvesi Lake in the famous Saimaa region in Kesalahti. Admire the fabulous lake views from the spacious terrace or large windows in the living area while you sit back and enjoy the beautiful interior and a wood fire. This luxury holiday property has high quality amenities, contemporary decor and provides very comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. The villa is part of a small group of holiday cottages located in a naturally beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by woods and along a beautiful sandy beach. The lake views are truly gorgeous and the woods surrounding the cottages offer great opportunities for walking and berry and mushroom picking. Puruvesi Lake with its very clean water is ideal for swimming, fishing and boating. It is possible to rent bicycles, an electric outboard motor and ice fishing equipment from the cottage owners. The site also has a number of shared use facilities, including a barbeque hut, barbeque shelter, an outdoor cooking area, rowing boats, a volley ball net and a pier. The villa owners can also organise guided nature, fishing and hunting trips for groups of 2 to 6 people (prices and availability by request). The nearest supermarket is located in Kesalahti 10km away. Those interested in exploring the area on day trips are spoiled for choice with many popular attractions within easy reach. Punkaharju Conservation Area just 28km from the villa is famous for its stunning landscape of lakes and small tree-covered islands, while the Finnish Forest Museum Lusto is also well worth a visit. The world's largest wooden church can be visited in Kerimaki 37km away and Savonlinna 64km from the villa has the fabulous Olavinlinna Castle where guided tours are organised in different languages during the summer. Lake cruises are also available in Savonlinna. Children will love Kitee Animal Park 22km away where you can say hello to many Nordic animals such as bears, lynxes and wolverines. The cottage is great also for winter holidays with cross-country ski tracks easily accessible on the frozen lake, or 10km away in Kesalahti.


Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a beautiful contemporary fireplace. Two twin bedrooms (beds can be arranged together). WC, utility area with second WC, shower and sauna. Two extra beds on a sofa bed in the sitting area. Outside is a spacious terrace facing the lake with a table and chairs. Pets are not allowed in this cottage.
